Nathaniel Otis (March 26, 1742 – March 1832 or March 7, 1834) was a farmer and church leader born in Montville, Connecticut, to Joseph Otis and Elizabeth Little. Around 1764, he married Amy Gardner, with whom he had multiple children, and the couple settled on a farm west of Gardner Lake in Montville’s New Salem Society.
