In 1778, he married Hannah Otis, daughter of John Otis and Prudence Taintor of Colchester, on 5 November 1778. Through this second marriage, Kellogg became connected to the locally prominent Otis family.

Martin Kellogg (baptized 29 March 1741 – 28 November 1789) was a resident of Lyme, Connecticut. He was the son of Jonathan Kellogg and married twice. He first married Sarah Treadway on 4 February 1762. Following her death early in 1778, he married Hannah Otis, daughter of John Otis and Prudence Taintor of Colchester, on 5 November 1778. Through this second marriage, Kellogg became connected to the locally prominent Otis family. Kellogg remained in Lyme until his death, leaving an estate appraised at over £320 when his will was probated in April 1790.
