Notes

Solomon Cone (c. 1780–c. 1840), occasionally recorded as Solomon B. Cone, was a farmer who settled in Greenbush, New York. Born in East Haddam, Connecticut, to Solomon Cone and Mary Spencer, he was baptized on September 9, 1784. In 1808, he relocated to Greenbush, a town situated opposite Albany, where he married Temperance Atwood on August 21 of that same year. He resided in Greenbush for the remainder of his life and was active in his local community, notably serving as the executor of the estate of Henry Wiltse in 1816. Cone and his wife had at least two known sons: Solomon, who later became a music teacher and director in nearby Albany, and Henry Raynard. He died around 1840 at approximately sixty years of age.
